Hmmm....

Where to begin, where to begin...

It's been a while since my last post (okay, it's been a LOOOONNNNG time), and things have changed! Ross and I have been in our house for about 4 months now and are both graduated from ASU! This last year has been such a blessing in our lives. Ross just found out that he'll be a CPA very, very soon...he passed all 4 tests on the first try :)

School is going really well, I love my students (many days I have to remind myself of that fact). God has blessed me with wonderful co-workers and an awesome principal.

I know this was short...but it's getting late. I promise to be a better blogger... Until next time!

Long weekend...

Well, my grandmother passed away early yesterday morning (July 5). It was actually one of the better days that I've had in a while. I am at peace with the Lord's decision. Ross and I are here in Pampa, TX, with my family and everyone seems to be doing well. The service will be on Tuesday here in Pampa, so please be in prayer for the family that will be travelling into town.

Before I left town, I had some amazing friends invite me to go to the lake with them, and we had a wonderful time. It was just what I needed to unwind and de-stress (although I got a little sunburned). So, thanks girls, you know who you are!

Thanks again for those of you who have been praying. Everything's going well here, and I'll try to keep you updated!

Something new...

Well, I thought I'd give into the peer pressure. So, here I am. I'm hoping this will be a good way to keep everyone up to date with what we're up to these days.

Ross is taking class and will finish his first summer session tomorrow, so we're excited. He'll start back with Summer II on Tuesday. He's working for a local accounting firm while I sit at home on my lazy tail.

I have a job working at Lee Middle School here in San Angelo that will start in August. I'll be teaching 7th grade Science and am SO excited. I'm a little nervous, but I know that the Lord will work those nerves out at some point (probably after my 1st semester!).

Just something for you (my oh-so-captive audience) to pray for...I got some more bad news about my grandma. She's been in the hospital for about 3 months now. Before she checked herself into the hospital, she was active and still working for Pampa ISD as a diagnostician. She's had her ups and downs, but I gave it all to the Lord. This has proved to be hard, but the best thing for me to do. She is a believer, so I know that she will join my grandpa in Heaven when her time comes. Please pray that the rest of my family will feel as I do. She is ready to go, it's just a matter of when the Lord wants to take her.

So, there's my first post. Sorry it ended on a sad note. I pray that all of you are doing well. God Bless!
